NHNH Yard Sale to offer great deals while supporting residents

SIMCOE – From household goods to décor, toys, and hidden treasures, the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home (NHNH) Yard Sale on Saturday, June 13, will offer shoppers great deals while helping support the residents who call NHNH home.

The community event will feature a wide selection of gently used items, including kitchenware, games, seasonal decorations, small household items,  toys, and more. Funds raised through the yard sale will help support programs, activities, and initiatives that enhance the lives of residents living at NHNH.

NHNH encourages shoppers to arrive early for the best selection, as volunteers continue preparing and organizing donations from across the community.

Community members are also invited to donate gently used items to help support the sale. Donations of household goods, décor, toys, games, kitchen items, and small furniture are welcome.

“The support we receive from the community means so much to our residents, families, staff, and volunteers,” said contact Linda Schaeffer, Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator. “Events like this help create opportunities for connection, comfort, and meaningful experiences for the people who live here.”

The NHNH Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, June 13, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home.
